Premise
Every night, the Star Keeper — an ancient owl named Celestine — lights the stars above the Everwood, guiding travelers and keeping the Shadow Brambles at bay. But last night, Celestine's Star Lantern was stolen, and one by one the stars are going out. The Everwood's creatures are frightened, the Shadow Brambles are creeping in, and the Moonwell — the source of the forest's magic — is dimming. Heroes are needed.
The World
The Everwood, a vast enchanted forest where every tree has a name, rivers sing lullabies, and the mushrooms glow in sixteen different colors. It's a place of wonder and gentle magic, home to talking animals, fairy circles, and ancient mysteries. But without starlight, the forest's darker corners are waking up.
Starting Location
The Hollow Oak
The great gathering place of the Everwood, a massive hollow oak tree large enough to hold a hundred creatures. Glowing mushrooms light the interior, and a spiral staircase carved into the trunk leads to Celestine's observatory at the top — now dark and empty.
